Description:
The SRC Full Metal / Real Wood AK-74U Gas Blow Back Airsoft Gun is a great gas blow back reproduction of the AK-74U. The SRC AK-74U is constructed out of high quality materials; the finish of the metal receiver is spot on as well as the real wood hand guards. The gun features a side folding stock that will greatly assist the user in CQB or vehicle mounted operations, the stock is very sturdy whether it is folded to the side or locked back. The gun features a side rail for mounting a aftermarket optic platform as well as a sling mount on the right side of the stock. The pistol grip is the same dimensions as the real steel and the magazine is also weighted similarly to the real magazine. The charging handle pulls all the way back just like the real steel and features a realistic bolt design. Firing the SRC AK-74U is a real joy, the recoil is very quick and snappy with a rate of fire around 10-12 rounds per second.

This is by far one of the best gbb aks-74u airsoft guns u can buy it is affordable high quality and durable this is one of those guns that u can use for both cqb and field combat better then any m4a1 gbb I highly recommend this gun
Pros:
Powerful super realistic durable easy to maintenance or repair good recoil
Cons:
Magazine can be a pain to get in bolt does not lock back
I purchased this gun 2 years ago as a means to get my feet wet in the GBBR world and have been more than satisfied with my purchase. The receiver is made of steel, as is the flash hider, outer barrel, front sight, gas block and receiver cover while the stock appears to be aluminium. The stock also has a very small horizontal wobble to it which is annoying but fixable. The recoil is light, though highly enjoyable and the ROF is good for an assault rifle. FPS is very high with mine chronoing at 450 to 475 FPS, much higher than most fields will allow. I am currently attempting to drop the FPS by installing a shorter inner barrel (110mm VS 225mm) which will, in theory, give the gas more room to expand. The main issue I encountered with the weapon is actually in the magazines. The outer shells for magazines are constructed out of plastic and lack the metal reinforcements on the forward lip that the real steel AK-74 mags have, meaning that jarring impacts to the magazine tend to break said forward lip. While this design flaw is unfortunate, as long as you are not excessively hard on your weapon you should be alright.
All in all. I would definitely recommend this weapon to anyone looking to try a GBBR or to someone looking for a new weapon to add to their arsenal.
Sargeson Out.
Pros:
Full metal body with real wood furniture
Less costly than most GBB AKs
Absolute blast to shoot!
Realistic break down
Descent recoil and great ROF
Cons:
Very high FPS
Weak magazine lip
Bolt is not full travel
Bolt occasionally resets hop up (Fixed by filing down bolt or tightening hop up selector)
Slight Horizontal stock wobble
