PolarStar Gen 2 Rev. 2 Fire Control Unit Kit

PolarStar Precision Airsoft Components (PPAC) was formed in January 2009 to fill the need for precision engineered airsoft upgrade parts. PPAC is a division of PolarStar Engineering & Machine (PSE&M), a unique blend of tenured American toolmakers and a full service CAE/CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing), special crafts machine shop keeping alive our proud manufacturing heritage of "Made in the USA".

The Polar Star Fire Control Unit (FCU) Rev. 2 Kit -GEN2 allows users with previous revisions of the Polar Star Fusion Engine (such as Gen. 1/Rev. 1 Units) to update the FCU and Trigger Board to the current version. In addition to updated firmware, the wire capturing slots of the first generation FCU have been replaced with a more user-friendly modular data plug which allows the user to more easily disconnect/reconnect the data cable for installation and removal of the Fusion Engine from an AEG body. The Small Type Tamiya connector that was present on the Rev. 1 Trigger boards has been replaced with a mini JST connector for a more consistent and solid connection to mini-type 2S/3S LiPo batteries which power the FCU, and a second auxillary port has been added to the FCU in anticipation for further expansion of capabilites in the future.

The screws that are originally included in your Fusion Engine will be the same screws used to install the Rev. 2 Trigger Board.
