I got this gun about 3 months ago and its a very sturdy gun. The externals are extremely nice and tough. The internals would be maybe a 8/10. The first time I went to try to skirmish with it, it gave me the "full auto" problem as soon as a plugged in the battery, When I got home from the game, I tried it once more and the problem just went away by itself, and never happened again since. I really don't know what happened. I've test-fired it many, many times and it never happens anymore. Other than that, stock FPS and ROF are really good. About 350FPS, and around 18-21 bbs a second depending on what type of battery you use(I used 9.6v). I bought a Systema m120 complete gearbox for this thing and its even better than ever. Higher FPS, ROF about the same. I also got a G&P 416 shorty stock to place the battery in there(I hate the PEQ2, although the one that comes with this gun is really nice compared to others, but PEQ is not for me) The shorty stock IMO is very nice. I recommend it for this or a crane stock. The original stock is okay(Not as bad as people say it is, tis a bit wobbly though) It was really shiny, didn't have a flat color at all. So I just grabbed some Krylon Camo Ultra-Flat Black spray paint, and sprayed away, and it gave it a nice, flat look. It really did make a difference in appearance. Also painted the mag. The magazine is pretty cool. A bit longer than a regular mag(Such as the MAG magazines). The downside is having to have a tool to wind it up. Its really tiny and can be lost easily. I think it might be hard to replace aswell so be careful with it. Feeds flawlessly.

Pros:
-Excellent externals
-Good Stock FPS and ROF
-Easy to dissemble
-Solid build
-Comes with nicer PEQ2
-Cool iron sights
-Durable
-Cool mag

Cons:
-Internals are decent
-I got the "full auto" problem, but only happened once, never came back
-Stock and mag really shiny
-Pricey(But worth every penny)
-Mag wind up tool is easy to misplace
-Friends will envy you
-Have to use the PEQ2 for battery placement(Some like it, others don't)

Although its expensive, and likely to have the "full auto when battery is plugged" problem(Easy fix, just replace cut-off lever, and I think the selector switch(I can't remember), its worth every penny.

Here are some pics of what mine looks like currently(Rail covers not pictures, and EOTech will be put on this.

I recieved this gun yesterday, compare to the other Echo1 614 I already have, the VFC is much much better! Beautiful external, very sturdy built. The buttstock is OK for me, it has very nice details & edges, it is not that shinny like what others say..it is more like semi-flat color.
I run the Echo1's 8.4V battery with the gun, it shoots great & the ROF isn't bad at all! The only problem so far is the magazine doesn't fit all the way into the gun; so I use those echo1's mag instead.
Really nice AEG in conclusion, decent FPS, great material w/o cheap plastic.
It's totally worth it even if you have to upgrade the gearbox later!

I have this gun for almost a month now, still functioning great! hop up is the only weakness I found as far as I know; have to reset it oftenly. FPS on the gun almost 370fps, great ROF with the 9.6V battery attached.
Star's low-cap mag or King arms' 120 mag fit well on the gun. Even with the PEQ box on the RIS isn't too heavy to hold.
Very accurate with a Hurricane's 553 holosight. With stock FPS; can shoot thru a beer can in 30feet!!
This is the best AEG I ever shot, & worth every hard earn pennies!!
Highly recommand ^_^
