I bought this to go with my upgraded JG m4, looks good on the front, like a muzzle break on the front of many high end hunting rifles, and it does make that metal punching sound. Works kinda like an aftermarket car exhaust system would, just reverberating and "amplifying" the sound. If you want to make a loud gun even scarier, try this out...
I'd love to see this on an m249/m60. it would make any gun more intimidating.
no idea how to adjust the noise coming from it like it says you can, but it is pretty well set up stock.
You can loosen/tighten (its fully tightened stock) the front part that is in front of the little black ring on the picture, and even remove the amplifier part if you wished.
Pros:
Finish is fantastic
Nice trademarks
Screws on to any 14mm Counterclockwise threaded barrel.
"Metal punching" noise does a good job describing what sound this makes.
Cons:
I dont see any real way to adjust the noise.
Big,
Great Product! looks great on my CQB m4. The sound is adjusted by removing the front clip and unscrewing the front, from there you can turn two cones inside the flash hider. The more open the oval holes are, the louder the sound. My biggest problem (which really isn't much of one) is that you may need to get a washer or some sort of spacer to get the trademarks to line up right.
Pros:
Does exactly what it says
Looks Great
Intimidating sound and looks
Simple upgrade
Cons:
may need a spacer for trademarks to line up right
