These are my initial observations.
4 mags to a box, and there appears to be a bit of a stain on the box. Upon opening up the box each mag had something on the square end of the mag wither it be lubricant or something else I don't know.
All four mags loaded ~170 BBs each the first time I loaded them, no silicone or other lubricant was added. They loaded just fine with my el cheapo BB loader, a bit harder as you moved around the first corner but not too bad. There were a few times when the BBs would double stack, miss one and then go back to double stacking. This happened maybe three times in one mag.
BBs can be seen from both sides there are no fake bullets in these mags, which IMHO is plus since you know how much of your mag is left. I left realism at the door since I am loading 170 BBs.
Test firing went very well, I used my CA P90 Proline and emptied 2 mags both semi and full auto with no problems, I was using G&G 0.2g BBs.
Initial reviews by others had questionable results. They could only load ~80 to start and had to really lube and break the springs in to load all 170. I did not have any issues.
So far I am very happy with these mags. As a side not these four mags hold the same number of BBs as ~10 TM mids would and at a fraction of the cost.
Pros:
Translucent
Holds 170 BBs
Easy to load
No feeding issues
Cons:
None at this point
These mags are beast!!!
If you have a P90 ( ks-E90L for me), get these mags.
Pros:
Very durable
170bbs, what mid cap can beat it?
You always know how much ammo you have left in your mag
When you first pick up the mags you know it was worth the money
Cons:
CAUTION! They break speed loaders.
Mine were hard to break in at first, but are working great.
#1 You should fill the mag until you literally have to pound the bbs in.
#2 empty the mag and repeat step 1.
It may take some time, but you will be able to load all 170 bbs.
I purchased these for a friend for his P90 I got him for his birthday. The first magazine I used did not seem able to keep up with his P90's RoF and did not feed correctly on full auto. However, the first game he and another player used them and after asking them about the performance, they both claimed all the mags fed fine. I'm not really sure why it didn't work for me, but who knows, maybe they just needed to be broken in? (I know for experience with other models of MAG midcaps that there really are those random times when your midcaps don't feel like feeding).
Anyway, I strongly recommend these to any P90 owner and advise anyone to purchase these! For the price per mag the only ones that can compete are the Echo 1/Chinese P90 magazines which are good for paper weights.
Only real problem I've had is it is so freakin' expensive to get anything that will fit these mags! My friend dropped them all over the field because they wouldn't fit in any of his equipment.
Pros:
-Good durable material (far more durable than the TM standard mags)
-170 rounds
-Feed reliably or may need some breaking in and then they feed perfectly
-Can see your ammo if its light enough around you
-I believe you can take them apart though I'd caution against trying as the springs in P90 mags are already annoying enough with the standard mags.
Cons:
-Awkward shape makes it impossible to find anywhere to store these
-May hold less than 170 rounds (haven't counted, and frankly who cares? They still hold a ton!)
-Can get hard to load even with speed loader if you're not used to large capacity magazines
-No fake rounds (obviously)
-May seem pricey but really isn't since there honestly is no cheaper alternative
