[DYOC][17742 / CA-372MD]The Emerson Combat Shirt by Lancer Tactical is the perfect blend of a high durability BDU and the comfort of a base layer. This product also features a zipper high collar for neck protection and easy donning. The body of the Emerson Combat shirt consists of a nylon/cotton blend base layer, which is breathable and helps cool off the user much faster than a standard BDU Coat. This is an amazing combat shirt. For around $45, you are getting much more than you pay for compared to similar products on the market. The cotton torso is soft and the ripstop patterned arms are strong. What I liked the most was the fit. It fits super well on me, it is closer to my body than my other combat shirt by a different maker. I am 5' 9", a medium shirt size, and I am somewhere around a medium tall and medium thick frame, if that makes any sense build wise. This might fit tight if you are on the larger side, but the length is pretty good. The feeling I get wearing the shirt is that it is nice and cropped, and the arms fit close if you adjust the wrist closure. I like the cropped fit contrasting to most shirts these days. I find alot of shirts that are sized at a medium are too big, especially in the diameter of the shirt. I don't know why the medium size is so big nowadays. The cotton torso is not too light, but not very heavy. I would say the multicam like pattern is a little dark, but it isn't too dark to not match the MultiCam branded camouflage of my Tru Spec pants. Overall this is a cheap and great great great alternative to a more expensive combat shirt.
