Emerson CBRN Style EM50 Face Mask (Black)
[S22D09][17746 / AC-337B]The Emerson CBRN Style EM50 Face Mask is the perfect addition to any military style costume or cosplay. The mask features two "filters" that acutally house two battery powered fans to keep your face cool and to prevent the visor from fogging. Overall this is the perfect piece to complete any military style cosplay or costume
Features:
- Polymer Construction
- Includes Two (2) Lenses
- Comes with "filters" with built in fans
- Perfect for costumes or Cosplay
PLEASE NOTE: This mask does not provide any full seal eye protection and is NOT recommeneded for gameplay.
- Specifications
- Manufacturer: Lancer Tactical
- Color: Black
- Material: Plastic
- Package Includes: One (1) Mask, One (1) Tinted Lens, One (1) Clear Lens
Bought this knowing full well that this mask IS NOT ANSI RATED, but have had ANSI masks fail and non-ANSI masks hold up for years, so whether a mask is ANSI rated or not commands no measurable amount of respect from me.
Shot at it with a G&G shooting 380 with .20s (used .28's for the mask test) and the goggles didn't crack until a stray bb hit the edge. Even then it didn't penetrate, just cracked, but that bestowed enough fear unto me to land the mask in my "buyers remorse" box of shame (looks nice in there next to my ANSI rated Save Phace with a bb hole between the eyes!).
Seriously, how much harder would it have been to put proper eye protection on it?
Apart from that the mask is very cheaply made: see "Cons," and I would recommend you save your money (and eyesight) unless you're planning to use it for a costume decoration; and even then there's better/cheaper options out there.
Pros:
-Looks cool
-You can see clearly out of the dark lenses in the day and night (apart from the fact that everything looks like a fun house mirror)
-Works with my PASGT helmet
-Fans are quiet
Cons:
-Made of low grade plastic
-Lenses are warped (could be a "Pro" if you're lookin for a trippy time and don't get seasick)
-Straps are, like the rest of the mask, cheap and unadjust themselves
-Even with the fans on it still fogs
-Uncomfortable
-Unbalanced and bottom-heavy

No this mask is a "tight fit" mask that uses a rubber gasket to seal the edge with the users face. 2213 days ago 0

The M50 gas mask WILL fit with the PASGT helmet. I know, as I've worn both before. You will not be able to utilize the chin strap however.
