New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

This magazine is recommended for use with the G&G M14 series AEGs, it may work with other brands AEG but cannot be guaranteed by Airsoft GI.

Specifications:
Manufacturer: G&G
Magazine Capacity: 470 rounds

    High Capacity Magazine Operation:
  1. Find the trap door, usually located on the top of the magazine near the loading nozzle.
  2. Open trap door and fill reservoir with high quality BBs.
  3. Wind the wheel at the bottom of the magazine (notice the pitch and volume of the click).
  4. Continue to wind wheel until pitch changes. Once the click gets louder, or begins to "double click," the magazine is fully wound.
  5. Insert magazine into gun and fire. You may need to rewind the wheel during play.

Product Information:
I've had this magazine with my G&G Soc 16 for a little under a year.... about 8 months I think, and its performed perfectly. It's leagues better than the CA M14 magazine.

Pros:
-Finish looks great- it's grey, not like the toyish black finish of the CA magazine.
-Feeds very well- the CA magazine has jammed at almost every game I've used it in at least once, sometimes twice.
-It's a good fit in the magazine well- you have to use a little force the first few times you put the magazine in, but it loosens up just a little bit eventually, and it doesn't wobble at all.... which the CA magazine does.. badly.
-Holds 470 rounds- I don't see myself paying just as much for an 80 round midcap when the G&G M14 will rip through that in just under 5 seconds on an 8.4v.

Don't settle for the cheaper CA magazines, these are much better, and seem to have any kinks worked out that previous reviews have mentioned.

Cons:
-None.

Product Information:
I have two of these. One is great, the other is decent. The one that came with my SOC16 (I've reviewed that too) didn't work. The first time I winded it, the two gears that feed the BBs into the tube jammed. The mag would neither feed, nor wind. I managed to realign the gears and fix it. It still doesn't feed as well (occasional double feed, doesn't last long on one wind). My second was much better. It lasts longer on one wind and feeds much better. My first one was a lemon, the second was great. The second mag shows how good they can be.

Pros:
*Feeds well
*great capacity
*last long on one wind.

Cons:
*one came as a lemon (managed to fix it)
rattles (problem with any high-cap, doesn't detract from quality)

This mag is ok. Why I say ok is because it's not the greatest. They either tend to work very well or are garbage. I have two of these, both bought around 30 - 40$ each. The one that came with my G&G M14 is still working today after thousands of rounds fired out of it. There is tons of scratches from reloading that same magazine. This same mag is about 2 years old now.

The second magazine though is a whole different story. One that pisses me off. I bought it after a year of owning the first mag because I found that I just needed a second mag. It helps a lot to have two so you don't have to call out of the game to go reload while everyone else is still having fun. As well as you don't get shot at while reloading the mag behind cover. Well this mag fired very well the first time. The second time I used it, it worked well as well. But when I had gotten my second G&G M14 from the Junk Box. I had tryed to put in the mag to see if the M14 worked. Well the M14 worked after I had to put in my older mag. I had found out that my second NEWER mag had broken in some way. The gear wouldn't wind and would not feed into the gun. I still can't figure out why today.

Pros:
Wind up gear is very easy to use.

470 rounds allows you to stay in a fight for over 10 minutes. Depending on the play style you choose.

It's made out of metal so you can drop the mag on the ground with out much worries.

Cons:
You are gambling with this magazine. Some may last years. Some may last a couple of reloads.

It's made out of metal. So you had an extra pound or two on your gun.

It takes a while to learn how to load this mag into the M14 or w/e it's used it.

It's 30 to 40$. Not very cheap for a gamble.
