G&G GR15 Raider CQB Electric Blow Back Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[R10D00][06236 / GNG-EGR-15PRDSBBBNCM / EGR-15P-RDS-BBB-NCM]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The G&G GR15 Raider Carbine Electric Blow Back Airsoft Gun is an excellent solution for a high quality, low price, AEG. The body is made from G&G's famous ABS plastic. The barrel, RIS, and gearbox are completely metal. The monolithic rail system is the perfect platform for mounting CQB optics like holosights or red dot sights; it's also very sturdy for mounting vertical grips and flashlights. The pneumatic blowback system adds realism to the gun without sacrificing performance or reliability. The crane stock houses the battery so the user can adjust the length of the stock to their preferences while keeping the battery wires hidden. This is a well engineered and executed AEG from one of the most famous airsoft gun manufacturers.

Great gun, i have had no problems with the gun at all. It is a great first time user gun and easy to upgrade.
Pros:
light
metal where it counts
easy to upgrade
FPS
Cons:
Flash hider can be a pain to remove but it will come off with some work.
I've had this gone for I think... A year, and it's great. I haven't had any real problems yet. When chronoed at the field, it was shotting 300-309 which is pretty good for cqb. (That's with a 9.6 and .25's). The fire rate is decent, nothing special. Everything is comfortable, and it's pretty light. While I wouldn't use it for a field game, this gun does have decent range for a CQB gun. As for the blowback... it's pretty week. I don't know if that was just mine, or the batch that I got but my friend's non-blowback gun recoils harder than mine. When firing full auto it's a bit more noticeable but still it isn't much. (although with the blowback, the dust cover actually comes down and you can see the thingy go back and forth which looks nice). If I could've gone back I would get the non-blowback version and save some money. One last thing, my mag fell apart. The inside where the winding thing is fell out of the shell (keep in mind I might have just not handled it well) but with some superglue it was good as new. l But over-all I think this gone is great and I would totally recommend it!
Pros:
-Comfortable pistol grip
-Light
-FPS (good for CQB)
-Fire rate is decent
-Feeds well
-Crane stock
Cons:
-FPS could be a con for some (it's 70fps under my field limit) but it is a cqb gun
-Blowback is week
-Nothing else really, it's a great gun from my experience and totally worth the buy (but I'd go with the non-blowback version).
The G&G Raider is a great CQB weapon to get. I play mainly indoors and that requires a more lightweight and high preforming weapon, this one does what I need without flaws. I stuck a Madbull Gemtech suppressor at the end of the barrel and it looks pretty intimidating. This is a great weapon if you're planning on upgrading it, the gun is only about 7-8 pounds, the polymer lower feels and looks pretty close to real metal and preforms just as good as a TopTech variant.
Pros:
Great for CQB
Totally Customizable
Good Buy for the Price
Can Compete with Toptech Variants Without Flaws
Great if you buddy this up with a 9.6v and up Battery
Great with the $20 Burst Wizard MOSFET
Cons:
Nothing that I could call a con so far, took some learning and tweaking with the hopup to get it right but thats about it.

what would i need to replace if i wanted to put in a high speed motor?
what motor would be best to get around 20-25 bps? and what else do i need to prevent any damage to the internals?

i would look at the Lonex series motors, or the g&p m120 motor (this is a long type motor). As far as gears i do not think you need high speed gears for this. But i have been told by gi that no matter what, the upgraded motor will increase the wear and tear on your gun. This will definitely make your gun more of a intermediate to pro gun, because you will definitely need to maintain your gun.

Any mock suppressor compatible with 14mm CCW threading will do. Madbull barrels, and Airsoft GI PE barrels are good choices for inexpensive, but effective barrels. 3739 days ago 0

Staff Answer:
This gun should be able to support a 7.4V Lipo. Upgrades would all depend on what kind of performance you'd like to get out of the gun. Popular upgrades include: Upgraded Motor, upgraded inner barrel, upgraded bucking, and upgraded piston. 3744 days ago 0
