G&G Combat Machine CM16 M4 Carbine GBB Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[R08A00][15003 / GS2-16P-CAR-BBB-NCM]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The G&G M4 CQB GBBR Airsoft Gun is essentially the same as the Electric Combat Machine, but with a closed-bolt gas blowback system instead of a gearbox. Externally, the gun features the same high quality polymer receivers and hand guard as the electric Combat Machine line, as well as the adjustable LE stock, removable carry handle, and front and rear sling points. The CM16 CQB shoots right at 380 FPS, and features a 14inch barrel, making it perfect for open, outdoor fields with longer range engagements.
G&G's Combat Machine line has been an incredible hit throughout the airsoft world, becoming what is arguably the most popular budget-friendly AEG line available today, and now they have stepped up their game yet again. Because the G&G M4 CQB GBBR Airsoft Gun is based off of the Combat Machine platform, it comes in at an unprecedented price for a GBBR. So if you've been considering stepping into the world of GBBR airsoft guns but didn't want to spend a ton of money to do so, or you're looking for another great gas gun to add to your arsenal, be sure to check out the G&G M4 CQB GBBR Airsoft Gun, and you'll surely be impressed.

The rifle is made of light plastic unlike its AEG Counterparts. The bolt catch does not work in auto mode. The bolt will continue to fire will expel all of your precious gas after one use. The magazine works great but the construction material quality is heavily lacking. I do not see this rifle lasting beyond a year or two with this type of construction. Save your money and get the KWA LM4.
Pros:
Magazine Works as promised
Accuracy is on par with other GBBRs
Good Range
Cons:
Construction materials.
Bolt Catch fails in Full Auto Mode
Expels all gas in Full Auto Mode after
I just got this rifle today. First thing I noticed was the construction. The type of plastic used (Key word being plastic) is very, very cheap. It is very thin in comparison to the AEG Combat Machines. Instead of a polymer carry handle its made of a light plastic. This quality in construction is not what I have come to expect from G&G. Having said that, the rifle does function as promised. It has all the recoil that I have experienced while using the KWA LM4. It has great accuracy at 20 feet. I will continue to test the accuracy at longer distances to give a more thorough report. No Misfeeds or wasted ammunition which is a real plus. Though this rifle is okay for an introduction into the world of gas blow back airsoft, I recommend saving the cash for the KWA LM4 or RM4.
Pros:
Recoil
Accuracy
Magazine Functionality
Cons:
Plastic body instead of polymer
Plastic carry handle
I bought this gun for an inexpensive ammo alternative to my real AR-15s, with high expectations coming from real guns to so called toys, and aswell to start airsofting in tournaments and such. I have to say, I am very glad I chose this rifle. I felt a little buyers remorse, after hearing of KWA GBBs and other, untill I got it and put it to work. It does have a few flaws, but I like it. It is quite realistic, and 1:1 scale to my Colt 6920 SOCOM. It is also made of polymer, like you would find on a real AR-15 poly lower. However I do not own ARs with poly lowers, but I do like the weight and feel to this rifle, very realistic. It has three flaws though, the bolt catch area was not milled out, and I had to myself. It was a easy fix with a combat knife and 20 minuetes. And two, the upper was slightly bent inward, and I just stripped the upper and pryed it open for a little while, and it was mostly straight again. And the green o-ring that connects to the mag drys out fast. 3000+ rounds later, it's just like new.
Pros:
Accurate
Durable
Realistic and high attention to details
Compatable with real milspec AR-15 parts
Good blowback recoil system
Realistic 30 round mag size
Perfect bolt catch (After milling the upper)
Looks and feels like a real AR
Comes with a one point sling for tactical carrying
Removable A2 carry handle
Ambi mag release and fire control selectors
Takes 14mm ccw flash hiders, muzzle breaks and supressors
Cons:
Upper was warped slightly and was not properly milled for the bolt catch to function properly, but it's easily fixed
Main gas port o-ring dries easily and needs special attention and care
A2 carry handle iron sights suck (On mine atleast, but they are useable)
Mags can sometimes be a little grabby, but not bad when o-ring is lubed

Staff Answer:
The G&G Line of Airsoft Guns can accept most aftermarket rail systems such as those from Madbull. Depending on what length you want, you may or may not need to remove the front triangle sight. 3674 days ago 0

Staff Answer:
The Magpul PTS hand guard should be able to fit that gun. You would want to make sure it is the ones designed for the M4 such as this one http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=14623 3717 days ago 0
