New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

Description:
Since its inception the Echo1USA brand has strived to provide clients with uncompromising quality of products and customer service. As avid Airsoft players themselves, they are able to understand the needs of the sport and the frustration with inferior products. Echo 1's commitment to yielding the finest most affordable Airsoft Guns and Accessories on the market today is steadfast, and remains the foundation of they're continued success.

The Echo 1 AK700 isn't just your average AK variant out there. It still has the usual metal folding stock for the user to maneuver easily around tight corners without being seen during close quarter combat games and a metal body that adds more durability to the gun. The fully licensed Rifle Dynamics AK700 is as close as you can get to the actual firearm. The airsoft version features a railed gas tube so you can attach any optic and accessory of choice. Inside every AK700 is a upgraded one piece metal hop up unit, MadBull bucking, and a 455mm inner barrel. The gearbox uses a 7mm steel bearing to reduce friction and increase the rate of fire when using a lithium polymer battery. A large delayer is also added on the sector gear providing flawless BB feeding. The overall design was made to outperform other stock airsoft guns on the field. The Echo 1 AK700 is a great rifle for medium to close range due to its long barrel and folding stock.

Product Information:
The Echo1 AK700 is very very solidly built internally and externally. I wish I could post a photo of it after our last game, it was soaking wet, covered in mud and grass, and functioning perfectly. It is quite accurate for a stock gun in my opinion, and I can't emphasize enough that it is built like a tank (This does make it rather heavy though). Only con is the mags, which are kind of a brittle plastic, and rely on a tiny tab of plastic to stay in the gun (Standard AK mag and all, just the plastic is fragile)

Pros:
Solidly built
Accurate
Comes with two mags, a battery, and a charger (Plenty enough to start playing right away)
Rail on the top makes mounting an optic easier than some AKs (Still has the thing on the side for a side mounted AK sight rail)

Cons:
Magazines are kind of fragile
Not a con but really an unavoidable compromise you must make for good build quality, which is weight. Like I said, not really a con, but just be aware of this.

Product Information:
As a owner of this gun for over 7 months now, I feel its time for me to give an honest review of this weapon and how it has held up since day 1.

At the time of purchase, this package was a quite a deal for $210 to get a gun, two high caps, a battery, and charger.

The Gun.
This has proven to be quite a durable gun, although I believe all airsoft guns should be treated with care as they will never truly be as durable as real firearms are. The internals have held up since day one and after 5k rounds or so the fps settles just below the 400 range. With metal interior parts the gun is loud as you will here the metal clicking inside, which is good or bad depending on ones view. Good, means those parts are metal and will last longer before they do eventually break down. Bad, if there was less noise that means it has a plastic piston, which means it will be quieter, but will wear down earlier than a metal piece. For me personally the noise is not an issue, just adds to the durability factor. One minor annoyance about the external and easy fix was the rear sling mount. It did in fact sound similar to a cow bell when running around. Accuracy was tested around 100-120ft roughly. I was able to easily hit a target the size a generic pottery pot (think size of your head). The gun, being a unique version of ak has a handy rail piece on top and a foldable stock for carrying purposes or CQC room clearings, which may never happen unless you lower fps below certain field standards. The both a 8.4 and 9.6 stick type battery fit well.

The Mags
At the time of my purchase and it may change in future sales, my package included two plastic hi cap mags. The mags fed well and fit with a slight wobble. These are great starter mags, although with them being plastic you should be prepared for them to break. Mine however are still intact.

The Battery and Charger
Lesson for all newbies buying gun packages. Expect the included items to any gun to be of low quality and therefore low performance unless otherwise stated by a reliable source. The battery was an 8.4v Ni stick type that had a life span of 1 minute. Knowing however that this might be an issue, I had previously ordered a couple of 9.6v as backup and eventually for primary use (seeing how that included 8.4 was not going to get me started in a game). The charger is basic and while I am sure it works fine, for the purpose of longevity of my batteries and proper care, I use a smart charger at all times.

Final thoughts and recommendations:
Overall I was happy and impressed by this airsoft gun. The package is a great kit for starters b/c of its inclusions and this gun will also meet standards for intermediate players as well ( I will never recommend this gun to be used as stock for experts only cause there are always interior upgrades to be made for professional performance). I would recommend however that you use a 9.6v stick type battery to make use of performance and to avoid relying on the included 8.4v, which might give you a problem similar to mine (for me it was the charge, but I was expecting that). I also purchased a pack of 5 King Arms mid cap mags that fit well and fed well for this gun, but my review of them will be for another time.

Like all airsoft guns, to keep your gun running smoothly and accurately clean the barrel after each day of play, lube the bb feeder once every 10k rounds or so, and charge those batteries with a smart charger. Thanks

Pros:
For those who rather not read my lengthy review
-excellent stock internals and externals
-accurate at up to 100-120 ft
-added rail for optics
-handy foldable stock for travel or CQC use under rule conditions
-2 hi cap mags that feed well
-battery room to fit 9.6v
-loud internals bad or good? you judge
-great starter kit for newbies and intermediates alike

Cons:
For those who still rather not read my lengthy review
-rear sling mount makes cattle bell noise (easy to modify)
-battery included for me had little charge and was not salvageable
-mags are constructed of a thin plastic
- loud internals bad or good? you judge

Product Information:
After owning this rifle for a year, I believe I can now write a solid review. This rifle is rock solid. I have ran it using an 11.1 2100mah lipo since day one to see how long it would last 100% stock, and over a year later, it is still 100% stock and functioning. The accuracy is not too bad for a stock gun as it comes with a Madbull orange bucking which helps with shot consistency a good amount, though I have switched to a cheap Madbull black python 6.03 455mm. The accurate range with .28gram bb's is right around 170-190 feet, and probably another 10-20 feet after installing the tbb. The magazines it comes with a plastic, but durable, and feed very well, even with the higher rof from the 11.1. It does shoot hot out of the box, mine was shooting in the 410 area so a spring swap might be necessary, or lots of shooting to wear in the spring. Overall, this is probably the most all around solid stock weapon I have used.

Pros:
-High fps, also can be a con
-2 magazines right off the bat
-Full metal body, very good quality
-Pretty accurate stock

Cons:
-The folding stock spring disappeared, but thats probably my fault, not due to the gun's quality
-Battery and charger are not good, but they are only designed to test the weapon. Use a smart charger a 9.6 nimh stick type battery instead.

FPS
Does this truly fire at 390-400? My fields only allow a max of 400 for rifles and I don't want to disappointed if I get this and it's chronoing at 440.
