When i got this, I was really happy because it would supposedly speed up my ROF a little and improve trigger response. I was wrong, it didn't even fit into my GB, i had to file it down many times, and just to figure out that it was almost impossible to fit unless i took a contact out, and also the sliding contact did not even slide that well at all, it more like scratched against the rails. I was very dissapointed with Echo1 for this
Pros:
Speed up ROF
Speed up Trigger Response
Cons:
Bulky
Did not fit in my GB it was even and Echo 1 gearbox.
Battery wire is almost too short to reach my crane stock battery
Concact rails scratch along, not smooth.
motor connectors are cheap.
I had the same experience as J. Wallis.
I bought this to replace the damaged wiring in my m16. I had to melt down some of the base so it would even fit in my gearbox, and I filed and sanded the plastic rails on the switch, because they were rough. The connectors also pull out of the housing easily, and the extension does not reach the rear of the stock, and is mini tamiya.
Pros:
it's a cheap-ish replacement if you can't solder, crimp, etc. yourself
Cons:
18 gauge wiring, very, very small, not much current can get through
mini tamiya (rear wiring is usually large)
low quality plastic
quality, the price reflects it.
you would be better off buying some 14-16 gauge wiring, (depends on what fits without being pinched) spade connectors, and wiring it yourself, which is what I am doing
