(Discontinued) Classic Army Full Metal B&T MK5 SD5 Navy Version AEG Airsoft SMG
[01721 / MP009M]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
This excellent full metal airsoft electric gun is manufactured by the popular electric gun maker Classic Army. It is an exact replica of the famous MK5 sub-machine gun that most special operation units use. It comes with a full metal upper receiver and a lower with the latest navy version trigger group. And, unlike many other MK5s the Classic Army features a functional charging lever that opens the bolt cover to reveal the hop-up. The MK5A4 also has a full stock that will hold a large battery pack for extended periods of play. If all these features were not enough the SD5 has an integrated barrel extension. What has held true in combat holds true for airsoft; the MK5 is great for CQB.

It actually chronoes at about 330FPS. It's all-round a pretty good gun. With AE .23's the hopup needs to be turned up all the way for maximum distance. The rate of fire on a 9.6v is decent for a stock gun - you don't need to worry about any parts breaking, but it's sufficient. It gets good enough range to compete with just about any other field-legal gun. More power would get your shots to the target faster, and make a flatter trajectoy for shooting through bushes; but the only guns you're going to find shooting harder than 330 stock are G&P's and ICS.
The only immediate upgrade I recommend is an extended tightbore through the supressor, since the stock one ends at the front sight. Also, a Guarder soft hopup packing.
