The Colt Full Metal 1911-A1 Military Spring Pistol Airsoft Gun Licensed by Cybergun is constructed from metal for realism but is not as durable as its high end metal counter part. The Colt Full Metal 1911-A1 is operated by racking the slide which cocks the spring for a single shot. The spring system used in this gun allows it to be very affordable, however it is not skirmishable or realistic. The Colt Full Metal 1911-A1 has realistic features such as realistic sights, slide cocking serrations, textured grip and magazine release. Despite the realistic features, the Colt Full Metal 1911-A1 leaves much to be desired in the authenticity department.
Although the Colt Full Metal 1911-A1 may be adequate for a display piece or prop, there are much better options that are still affordable. Although, if you are set on purchasing a 1911 type airsoft gun you should save up a purchase a Gas blow back 1911, GBB airsoft guns are the most realistic guns you can buy. As previously stated, this gun is not field ready due to its low performance. Although due to its realistic look and features, this gun is a great choice for use in film productions or as a great display piece. Tis gun is really good it shoots at about 320 fps full metal and all around a good gun

Cool spring pistol that is actualy full metal body except the hand guard and is great for looks if you don't want to buy a better pistol.

Magazine has built in storage for more bbs without having to put more bbs in the magazines. ( God, about 3 mags worth of bbs)
Pretty close to the looks of the real steel, I'm us all the internals, weight and everything else tha makes it a spring pistol.

(I have this same question)
I have this one. It is absolutely realistic functional grip and thumb safety full metal. It also has an opening ejection port. with .20 it shoots around 240-285, it is very accurate.
