Anyone who owns one, or is planning on buying one, MAKE SURE you tighten the top-most two screws on the back of the mag. They hold the feed lip assembly together and if they come loose, as they do during normal play, the feed lip will not hold properly. I tightened mine up as soon as I bought them and they feed PERFECTLY. The only way you lose a round out of these mags is if you load up, and don't fire all 29 rounds. Then, ONE will drop out of the feed nozzle area inside the gun. It is NOT a fault of the mag. All AEGs have this problem as far as I know. The feed lip is very stiff at first, but loosens up after a few loads/unloads and remains, to the best of my knowledge, working like a dream. Both a pro AND con is that the mag release causes them to drop from the gun. This is good because it facilitates fast reloads; bad because the mags have a very open design and will fill with dirt if you miss catching it. Overall 4.7/5. Will round up to 5.
Pros:
ALL metal
Both of mine feed perfectly
Lock into the cm030 with a very crisp and sturdy sound
Adds nicely to the weight of the gun
Cons:
The screws need to be tightened every once in a while during normal use
Tended to release all the bbs loaded while breaking in
Open design will fill easily with debris
These magazines are definitely very durable. The outside is made fully out of metal. Be careful if it's fully loaded because if you accidentally push down the tabs on the top, bbs will be flying everywhere. Easy to get in and out of the gun, can be a bit tricky to load them up though. On full auto, you can empty this in a couple seconds.
Pros:
Metal
Good capacity on semi-auto
Go in and out of the gun easily
Durable
Cons:
Could be easier to load them
The tabs on top can be pushed accidentally causing bbs to fly out
Empty in a couple seconds on full auto
Almost necessary for those with a cm030. 29 rounds can go by quickly (especially when firing on full auto).
Pros:
Full Metal
Durable
Great feel!
Cons:
Kind of expensive
Screws become loose and need to be tightened every 6 months or so, but not a big deal
