Being one of the inventors of the modern knife industry, Russell's attention to detail shines through in spades with this knife. After all, despite his awards and achievements, he is first a foremost a custom knifemaker.

A tough spear point blade begins life as an ordinary blank of 1050 Carbon steel, a carbon steel used to make some of the most legendary blades in the world. Hot forced and precision ground to its final shape, the dual cutting edges give you twice the protection and double the attitude. A black non-reflective powder coat finish is hen applied. Not only does this remove reflectivity that could give away position, but also resists corrosion that could render the blade inert, which makes this blade tougher than you are.

Grab hold of the handle and feel how perfectly balanced and contoured it is, bare or gloved hand. Notice the heft, and thumb detents for grip, as well as the large lanyard hole to attach your own wrist strap or neck-knife cord. When it comes to personal defense, this blade means serious business.
