Description:
The CAW BG-15 Grenade Launcher is Suitable for all 20mm Rails. The rail mounts on this gun are modular, they ca be moved forward or backward on the mounting rail for the shooters comfort position, and since its a thumbscrew mount it will mount onto any manufacturer's weaver rails. The frame of this launcher and the mounts are metal, the barrel and grip are plastic to save weight. This launcher operates similar to colonial style muskets, the grenade is loaded and discarded from the front of the barrel.

Pros:
Small and compact size
"pistol" style design-allows for soem more, "exotic" ways to use it.
Just B-A looking...Scary to look down form the receiving end.
Cons:
there really are none that I can think of.
5 stars in my book.
The CAW BG-15 grenade launcher is a decent bit of kit that is unique in several respects. First off, it is a muzzle loader, just drop the shell in from the front while the barrel is tilted up and a single small catch will latch on to the rim at the base of the shell, real easy and fast. To eject the spent shell, push the release latch and let gravity take over, also real easy and fast. The barrel easily accepted my CAW, Madbull, and Classic Army Shells. Second, it is RIS mountable, but not only that, it has a long RIS rail on top and the clamp is not permanently attached it the launcher, meaning it has gives a lot of latitude for locating it on your AEG, something most RIS M203 do not. It has its own pistol grip, while small, it still works as a foregirp for your AEG. In a world of M203 and other Tube style Launcher, the BG-15 stands out very nicely.
The build quality is outstanding, and of resilient ABS plastic. The trigger operates smoothly and looks very robust. Its simplicity makes it a very rugged design, and I imagine it will remain in my Armoury for a long, long time.
The bright orange paint used on mine looked ghastly, and I had to do something about it. Just painting over it was not an option as it was fairly thick and you could see brush strokes in it. It came of easily with acetone, however the acetone also attacked the plastic, so use it sparingly or try something else.
A few negative points are warranted unfortunately. The thumbscrew mounting nuts, shown in the picture and mentioned in the text, are not included, regular nuts are used. I checked with ASGI, and all current ones in their inventory are that way. I personally think that takes away from its Tactical appeal. For whatever reason CAW calls this a set, it is just the Launcher in the box, unlike some of the previous Echo/CAW offerings, there is no shell included. Both points are fairly trivial and I still give it 5 stars rating.
Pros:
Light Weight
Durable & Rugged Design
Flexible RIS systems
Quick shell load/eject
Cons:
No Thumbscrews as shown
Set has no Shell
