Bravo/D Boy Full Metal RDW AEG Airsoft Gun
[P05C01][05744 / BRAVO AEG RDW]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Bravo / D-Boy RDW (Rapid Deployment Weapon) Airsoft Gun is an excellent CQB option for those what want a different look from the traditional CQB M4. The RDW features a slim down version of the M4 lower receiver, a one piece upper receiver with rails and a folding metal stock. Even the pistol grip and magazines have been slimmed down to save weight. Although the magazines are smaller this gun is compatible with regular M4 magazines. The folding stock allows the user access to small spaces without compromising cover or ability to fire. Other enhancements over a standard M4 include ambidextrous fire selector and magazine release, also this gun features a realistic bolt catch. This is easily the smallest M4 variant available.

Love this gun!!!! bought it back 2 semesters ago, Ihave slowly upgraded over time and im really happy with it, but it has been a lot of work.
Shoots around 415-420 stock. Id say use .28g bbs with it. Came with a 9.6v battery in a peq box. This was really good for me, but the peq box looks HUGE on the gun. I suggest getting a stick type mini battery and just straping it to the side of the gun. OR if you can find a lipo small enough then you can slightly shave down the outer barrel and fit it inside the upper reciever. would still need a battery smaller than roughly 100x15x20. I did it and it works!!! Comes with a metal PDW flash hider too, looks good on it. If you want a tightbore barrel use the Systema barrel for MC51, it fits perfectly in the longer barrel configuration. Stock gears are verryyyy strong. I have been using them since day one even with verry high speed setups. Shimmed, they wont break for a lonngggg time.
Sadly one of my ball bearings broke only after a couple months (the one right behind the selector switch). this has happened to all 3 people including myself that i know who have this gun. Easy cheap fix is new bushings for like 10 or 15 on asgi. (size is 7mm bushings) This makes me put my rating at 4 stars... but its still a good preforming gun and I still love DBoys.
Pros:
-Comes with lots of goodies in the box like a good battery, flashhider, 2 barrel configurations
-fast rof (14 bbs per second with stock battery and spring)
-great internals for a chinese clone, wouldnt throw in a lipo just yet, but they will last you a long time(minus the bearings)
-mag it comes with is a good mag
-can use any m4/16 mag with it
-super fast shipping cuz ASGI is awsummmmm
-box it comes in is extremely small, scared me at first i thought it was wrong package or something
Cons:
-bearings broke quickly
-fps is a little high for most fields
-uses a mid length motor, systema mid length motor wont fit without cutting the pistol grip slightly
-no trademarks(some versions have them aparently???)
-stock hop up wasnt strong enough even on highest setting to fully lift a .25g bb(get an H nub and systema bucking. gave me amazing hopup, stock hopup chamber works very well too)
Where do I begin. This gun is not very good. In fact if i could do it over again i might not have got it. Well when i first got it out of the box i was pleased to find i got the version with the logo's on both sides (apparently some don't come with any markings). Then i picked it up and was happy with the finish of the paint and the fact that it is full metal, BUT THEN i find that their is only one pin holding the upper receiver on making it wobble due to the lack of support, THEN i go to fire it for the first time and i find that the hop-up bucking is torn and hanging in the barrel and had to be replaced. Maybe i just had bad luck. Besides that its a ok gun, but not $230 worth. just save up and get a KWA it will never fail you :)
Pros:
Full metal
400 fps
accurate to about 170 ft
nice paint finish
Fold-able stock
nice logo's
good ROF
Cons:
upper receiver wobble
mags suck
had to replace hop-up bucking
I must say this gun is pretty amazing! Very sturdy, no wobble what so ever. The stock was a little loose when i first got it, but i just tightened the screws and its perfect now. I would definitely recommend getting this gun.
Pros:
Full metal
Working bolt catch
High ROF
High FPS (a little high for CQB)
6.04 tbb
Great price ($198.98)
Compatible with m4 mags
Cons:
Mag
Flash hider
You have to force mag in. (Wires in mag well)
Plastic hop up unit ( i suggest getting a metal hop up unit.)
