The Angry Gun Tactical AK Dot Mount and T1 Scope Set is a great choice for AK's that don't feature a top picatinny rail for optic installation. This package comes all together with a micro dot an a mount that is designed to replace the rear sight for a standard AK. The red and green micro dot has 5 levels of brightness that are manipulated by an easy to use main dial on the top of the dot. The dot is mounted under the micro dot via 4 screws, keeping the platform solid and great for shooting. WOW. Piece. Of. Junk.
First of all, mine came with NO instructions (you think it'd be pretty simple, I'll get to that in a moment) and there are NONE to be found online. Maybe I'm just a fool who can't figure this out but so far it's crap.
The thing is, it is LOOSE as all hell, like wobbles all over the place. The hex screws that you can see on the side of the item in the pictures are the ONLY thing there to hold it steady, and it's a complete crap shoot trying to get it locked into place, the screws do not actually screw into anything, you're using the tightness from the head of the screw pulling up against the outside of where your rear sight was, thats it. I'd guess roughly 1mm or less of screw head is holding this in place. And once you can finally get it into place, it seems like the slightest bump will dislodge it.
On mine the hex screws are already stripped ( I legit got this 30 mins ago from writing this) from trying to get this thing into place.
Second of all, this is actually a TWO PIECE bar. Be careful to notice the TINY Hex screw (correct size key not included) where the new rear site aperture is, once you slide both pieces together this tiny screw is the only thing that is holding the 2 parts together, and you (obviously) need to assemble that before screwing the site on.
It's cool in theory, but insanely pricey for what it is. The screws are crap, the method used to hold this thing steady is crap. I'm beyond disapointed with this purchase.
If this was for any sort of real steel weapon it'd be useless... it'd lose its zero the second you touched it.

Held on by dubious means and seems prone to being dislodged.
