Airsoft GI Custom M4 Quicksilver AEG Airsoft Rifle
[18979]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Airsoft GI Custom Quicksilver is a another great custom rifle with a special battle worn appearance. The Echo 1 Platinum served as a perfect base for this build. Externally, the original finish was chemically stripped to obtain a smooth finish to begin and with the use of a very high grit sand paper to give it a more worn appearance without digging in heavily into the metal. Lastly, the metal was cleaned and chemically cured to protect the metal, similar to paint, as well as to maintain the worn out look. The included Madbull KFH Compensator and magazine were treated similarly to finish off the rifle externally. Internally, the Echo 1 Platinum OEM'd by VFC, has been to provide superb performance right out of the box in stock form. However, to increase the reliability even further, the piston has been replaced with an Airsoft GI POM Piston. This POM piston is made out of a much stronger material and the shape of the body has been designed to withstand different forms or stress during different setups. Overall, the Airsoft GI Custom Quicksilver, superbly built, is an excellent piece for battle worn airsoft guns from our tech department.
