The Echo 1 M28 sniper rifle is Echo 1ís latest addition to the sniper rifle market. Echo 1 really out did them selves with this rifle, the M28 features a fluted barrel that not only makes the rifle look great but also reduces the overall weight of the barrel without risking structural integrity. The M28ís stock features a lightly textured finish for improved grip; the stock is made completely out of polymer and features an adjustable butt pad to fit the rifle to the user. Internally the rifle is top notch, shooting upwards of 500 fps this gun is ready to go right out of the box. The gun achieves this velocity with its highly durable trigger box and great air seal, the M28 also features inner barrel spacers to decrease barrel vibration and flex therefore increasing accuracy and consistency. The Echo 1 M28 is also compatible with the Airsoft GI PE Reinforced Sear Set and Airsoft GI CNC Short and long Rail Mount. Echo 1 really knocked this one out of the park, making the M28 the best out of the box airsoft sniper rifle available.

Be prepared for the best under $200 off the assembly line sniper rifle on the market. This was my first "real" airsoft gun I purchased. By that I mean a gun capable of shooting over 50 feet and isn't clear plastic. When you receive it in the package, it will be in multiple parts (the barrel, the stock, 2 magazines, a bipod, and all the screws necessary to piece it together.) It takes about 5 minutes most to put it all together and is quite the beast. If you hate carrying a moderately heavy weapon, you will not enjoy this rifle unless you plan to sit still the whole game. it weighs a hefty 8-9 lbs without the bipod last I checked. The bipod adds an additional 2 lbs to make it a total of 10 lbs. That may not sound like a lot, but after playing 4 straight hours with it, you will not want to move. It has an adjustable butt stock, and two sling mounts. The rail is perfect for any optics you may want. It has a simple hop up adjustor and safety switch. Every part of this rifle is durable and capable of taking punishment. The only issue I have had with it is its stock sear set. It seemed like one of the only parts in the entire trigger box that was made of pot metal. The sear itself had ground away over the course of only 4 months of use, and then proceeded to cause the rifle to slam fire itself as well as not be able to be cocked properly. The fix is an expensive $35 for such a small piece, but if you replace it with a steel piece there should be no more problems.
-Super accurate with anything above a .2
-Comes with a high quality bipod
-Threaded inner barrel and adapter
-Easy to disassemble and put away
-Good hop up unit
-Adjustable butt stock
-Comfortable in your hands
-Crappy stock sear set
-A slight pain to remove the orange tip to get to the threaded barrel
-Requires constant cleaning
-Did I mention heavy?
-Shatters any .12 BB's and .2 BB's within a shorter distance than 75 ft.

I have had this rifle for roughly two weeks now and it is just wow. I am just completely excited for what Echo 1 has produced. It is so close to the M24 its crazy. Ive never personally had a slam fire issue with this rifle. It has a a great fps and range. Mine came with two metal mags and not plastic so what a bonus. It can be heavy for some. Instead of doing a traditional bolt pull i put my right as a fist on top instead of under making it way easier to pull and i personally find it to more comfortable
Cheap for such great quality
Comes with an excellent bipod
Saftey works great
Easy Hop Up location
Can be a bit heavy for some (I am 5'7", 120 lbs) I dont have a problem with it
Stiff Spring (+ or -)
I personally do not like how much you have to pull the trigger i think it is too short
no longer comes with threaded adapter not a big deal

This is my current primary rifle for airsofting, and it has been for the last 4 years. I have fired over 1000 rounds through it, and have become very accustomed to its quirks and abilities. The gun out of the box fires a beautiful 500+ FPS, is pre-installed with barrel spacers to increase accuracy and comes with a bipod and adjustable rear stock, putting it ahead of VSR-10s by a long shot. Some argue this eliminates the ability to customize the weapon, because the Echo 1 M28 doesn't come with very many options for modification. I disagree. I have installed a precision barrel, steel sear set, reinforced piston and guide and a SP190 spring. Many of these products, the piston, spring guide and spring, are not intended for the M28 but for the VSR-10, because this gun is compatible with many VSR-10 parts. Another aspect I love about the M28 is its absolute endurance, this gun has been through everything, water, mud, drops from 3 story buildings, and it has survived like a pro. For a new airsofter joining the community or for a veteran of the game, this gun offers options for you.
- Out-of-the-box perfection, with 500+ FPS, a fluted and spaced barrel, durable polymer stock, with bi-pod and stock adjustments.
- customizable with a wide range of parts, whether they are specified for the gun itself or are functional with other, similar models
- outrageous durability, has survived every test I've put it to yet
- easy to take apart
- Internal parts like the plastic piston have to eventually be replaced, the piston and sear set will wear away with time and can cause slam firing.
- Not the lightest gun in the world
- the bi pod which comes with the gun is subject to its own problems, and is not 100% reliable.
- lacks specific modification parts, like pistons, which must then be bought for a different model and then occasionally jury-rigged to function inside of the M28.
