The Smith & Wesson M&P 9C OEM by VFC is a gas blow back pistol fully licensed by Smith & Wesson. Founded in 1852, Smith & Wesson revolvers and handguns have become the standard issue to law enforcement agencies around the globe. When first hit the market in 2005, the M&P series pistol was and still is a solid performer. Numerous law enforcement agencies across the nation, including the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are now issuing the M&P to new hires.
Vega Force Company (VFC) has a reputation of making some of the world most accurate airsoft replica of real firearms. VFC only use the best quality materials for their airsoft guns, and their track record has said it all. Although VFC only manufactures Automatic Electric Guns (AEG), their gas blow back airsoft guns are second to none. The M&P 9C's externals have all the trademarks that the real M&P 9C has. The texture and the feel of the gun is exactly same as the real M&P 9C. Lastly, VFC M&P Compact has the capability of firing in full auto. This is a great addition for those looking to put a bit more rounds down range without having to wield a full size rifle.
Special features include full Smith & Wesson M&P 9C Trademarks on the slide and the frame. Specially designed fish scale rear cocking serration allowing the operator to cock the gun even in a slippery condition. The M&P 9C has an ambidextrous slide release, and a switchable magazine release button, making this a right hand and left hand friendly gun. The M&P 9C points naturally, very similar to the 1911. The Smith & Wesson M&P9C has a specially designed trigger safety, preventing unintentional trigger pull. Just like the real M&P series, the VFC M&P has a unique function that can speed up the reload time. When the slide is lock back, indicating the gun is empty, when the operator insert the new magazine into the gun with the right angle and proper amount of force, the slide will automatically go forward. Instead of adding another step to release the slide, the operator can now reacquire firm grip and continue to fire. Last but not lease, the Smith & Wesson M&P 9C OEM by VFC has a selector switch underneath its slide, which the operator can choose between full auto or semi auto mode.

Great gun, love the feel, shoots great, and it turns heads at the field, because it is not a common pistol like an M9 or a 1911 or USP (lots of people at my field use the HK USP Gbb. also a great gun) but it still feels kinda like one in your hand. mag release is where you think it is, love the sliding action. sounds badass
shoots ~270 FPS, perfect for a CQB or a sidearm. Just dont try to snipe with it and youll be fine.
small (could be a con, if you have big hands)
has a nice picatinny rail on bottom
Small rail space( cant complain that it at least has one though)

Review of The Cybergun VFC M&P Compact
First Impressions: When I first received this gun, the first thing I noticed was the sharp looking cardboard box. It didn’t have any flashing or shiny patterns, but instead a standard and mature cardboard finish. Upon opening up the box, there was the usual safety warnings about not shooting babies and not shooting your self in the eye. There was no “exploded” view parts diagram but instead a very detailed instruction manual on the gun of how to perform basic operations. In the box there were also two grips, one small and one large that are both easy to install on the gun. The gun itself came with the medium size grip pre installed. In the box there was also a unique serial number that snaps into place on to the gun. My serial number is “STA1964”. Their were minor oil stains on the slide of the pistol indicating that it had come ready to shoot.
External Appearance: The externals on this gun are absolutely amazing. The slide is a very high quality and made by VFC. The slide and body are also fully trade marked by Smith & Wesson. The lower part of the body has a very sturdy polymer frame (like the real steel version). The hand grip is very textured and has a rubber finish to it. The red tip on the gun simply unscrews counter clockwise with very little force. The sights are all black but in the box is the included glow-in-the-dark inserts with a white outline making this gun have night and day sights which are very bright. The barrel on this gun is also high quality metal. Overall, the external appearance is very very high quality.
Performance: I took this gun out side hoping that it would perform as well as it looked. When I filled the mag up with green gas it was absolutely silent which confused me since I wasn’t sure whether or not it was actually being filled up. The bbs loaded easily in to the guns magazine. When I inserted the mag and fired the gun it made a loud bang. The recoil was crisp and sharp while the bb went flying straight. Each time I fired the gun I felt the same crisp and sharp recoil action. This was awesome. I have never ever felt a gas pistol have this much recoil. This by far beats any KWA, Tokyo Marui, KJW and WE gun in terms of recoil. About 5 mags later I decided to try full auto. The gun shot at such a fast speed and the recoil was so crisp. It was once again, absolutely amazing. I went through even more mags and bbs until I finally stopped. My arm was starting to get sore from fighting this guns recoil. The gas efficiency is to par with KWA. This gun is awesome!
Looks: 10/10 No questions asked this is by far one of the best looking gbbs on the market. The S&W trade marks and VFC externals is the reason this gun looks amazing.
Build Quality: 10/10 This gun has extremely durable and feels like heaven to hold.
Recoil: 9/10 This gun is so much fun to shoot. The only downside is that the storng recoil takes away some accuracy. The recoil is crisp and sharp.
Accuracy: 8/10 The accuracy is questionable since the recoil is so strong that it minorly affects it.
Chrono: 285 – 296 FPS W/ .20g
Performance: 9/10 The gas efficiency is very good and so is the magazine capacity. The gun doesn’t leak gas and is easy to load.
Overall Rating: 9.5/10 The gun totally shocked me. This is the very first time I have written a review this long and that is because this is the very first time that I have been this impressed by a gun right out of the box. I have had many other top-of-the-line AEGs and GBBs but none of them made me be this impressed right out of the box. My other GBB is a very highly upgraded Tokyo Marui G17 (I’ve spent about $300-$400 on it) and yet this gun till matches up to it for its external appearance. I highly recommend this gin to ANY one wheather or not this is their first or 10th GBB pistol.
-multiple grip sizes
-un-screwable red tip
-Matchs up to my Toyko Marui G17 which is over 2x the price of this gun which is causing me to doubt my Marui G17.
- I am now totally impressed

My VFC M&P 9c arrived today and I couldn't be happier with the product. OK, maybe a little. This little baby fits right into the Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster (also purchased from ASGI). Dimensions and controls are an exact match for the real thing. The only place VFC missed a little is the weight. I'm going to bet they were aiming for the unloaded weight spec given by S&W.
The magazine does not slide smoothly out of the mag well. I'd guess this is caused by the coating of "non slip" friction paint it's covered with. I believe this will wear into place with use, it already has a little after I shot up the back yard. There are also some slight oddities, like having to install the sight dots. It comes with something called "dark sights", something I've never heard of but kind of like. Time will tell me more about how it stands up to regular use but I can foresee no problems. The tabs on the top of the magazine are a softer plastic than KWA uses so we might not have to load from the slide back position that is recommended for KWA's to prevent breaking these. For personalized grip adjustment, this comes with the same three grip adjustment "pads" as the real one.
Shooting the gun is a real pleasure. As much as I like my KWA pistols, they feel a little "delicate" when shot next to the VFC. I have not disassembled it yet but something about the way it shoots gives it more realistic recoil and a general feeling of, I don't know, "strength"? Whatever, I love the way it shoots! The ASGI QC tag in the box list the FPS at 302, a nice number that should usually pass, even at the most strict indoor field.
I strongly recommend this pistol!
Realistic feel, including the S&W jointed trigger and all other controls
Realistic shooting feel and good accuracy, even with the short barrel
Apparently good quality and design
Minimalist operation manual (Yay!)
Full Auto setting (I won't be using this but enjoy, if you so desire)
Lighter than the real steel counterpart
Magazine does not eject easily (which I hope will self-correct)
DIY sight dots (comes with "dark sights"; if point shooting is your thing just leave it like that - I think I will)
